It’s only halfway through December, and we’ve already brought you the Tiefschwarz Brothers and DJ Hell… and now this Friday, ReSolute keeps things rolling by bringing some serious talent your way…

Acid Pauli is a man who needs no introduction after an amazing 2012, with releases on Nicolar Jaar’s imprint Clown and Sunset, and a top spot as the next DJ to mix Crosstown Rebel’s infamous Get Lost series, not to mention the rave reviews pouring in about his live and DJ sets.

Joining him is NY-based DJ Qu, who’s track “Everybody’s Dark” is featured in Zip’s upcoming Fabric 67 mix. Qu’s a prominent member of the Underground Quality roster, which offers up some of the best house names in the biz, like Jus-Ed, Levon Vincent and Anton Zap to name a few.

And in a never-ending quest to bring you fresh and unique talent, we
welcome Akalina to warm up the night, a dear friend from Puerto Rico, who brings his minimal tech style to us here in NY, that has already graced the stages of WMC and DEMF.

We’ve been on fire recently… from Halloween & our 5 year anniversary, to Tiefschwarz last weekend.. and we’re not ready to stop! This Saturday we are going to turn up the heat with one hell of a party – our good friend DJ Hell is in town, so how could we not do something with him!? Joining him is some incredible talent that you all know and love, with Elon, Cem & RG, Bob Moses, and Lauren Ritter all taking turns behind the decks.

The Tiefschwarz borthers will be playing in a very special Manhattan location, and will be the last party to ever happen at this space before the demolition crew arrives on Monday to make way for a school to be built. Let’s bring some positive vibes and make it a last dance to remember, because we all know that a good party is a solid foundation for education ;)

Our favorite German brothers are back! Earlier in the year, Tiefschwarz brought down the house when we had them in a secret location in SoHo- this weekend we welcome back Ali and Basti for round two! Since we last saw them in New York, the boys have been keeping busy with a slew of releases on their imprint, Souvenir Music, a track featured on Watergate X – Watergate’s 10 year anniversary compilation, and a prominent spot mixing Watergate’s 9th club mix CD. Joining them behind the decks will be Elon & Connie, our residents extraordinaire, who both debuted fantastic live sets during our 5 year anniversary bash last weekend. And we welcome a new talent to the ReSolute lineup, Brooklyn’s very own Frank Olivo, who will warm up the night.

Unfortunately, due to situations beyond our control Damian Schwartz will not be able to perform tonight. We look forward to having him back in New York soon. But don’t worry, we’ve got a true NY talent ready to step up to the plate – we’re thrilled to have Francis Harris of Scissor and Thread with us for the night!

It’s all been leading up to this! After a week of massive celebrations, from a new release from our record label to a midweek pre-birthday bash, we are all geared up for the main attraction! Join us tomorrow for our five year anniversary bash, with some amazing talent, including The Martinez Brothers, who have blown up in the last few years, with an increasingly full touring schedule, and we can’t wait to have them perform for us here in NY. Our very own Elon and Connie are bringing us special presents for the night – Elon will team up with Joe Le Groove and Mr. Reed for some special vocal performances, while Connie will open the night with her band Jaded Lover. Rounding out the night will be ReSolute resident and label manager Lauren Ritter.

We will also be featuring the work of Brooklyn artist Francesco Masci throughout the night, as well as a special 3D mapping installation.
