It’s already been a month filled with epic roof parties, but this weekend we’re upping the ante by debuting a brand new roof space for you this Sunday! It’s in the heart of Williamsburg with an amazing skyline view, and we have a feeling that we’re all going to spending lots of time there this summer ;) The first act to break in the space is none other than Recloose… if you’ve heard his tracks like “Electric Sunshine” on Rush Hour or “Cardiology” on Planet E, you know it’s perfect stuff for a day in the sun. All the usual suspects of the ReSolute crew will joining on the decks throughout the day.

ReSolute presents Scissor and Thread showcase

SATURDAY April 20th
Scissor & Thread Showcase

Francis Harris aka Adultnapper
and Anthony Collins as Frank & Tony
Bob Moses
Special guest Delano Smith (live)

with opening sets by:
NavboX (Stranger Than Paradise, DC) and
Jubilee ( M.O.E , DC )

It’s been over a year and a half since Brooklyn label Scissor & Thread burst onto the scene, and with a stream of releases from talented musicians, composers, vocalists, and producers, they have been steadily pushing the boundaries of what an underground dance music label can encompass. ReSolute has hosted samplings of their impressive roster before, and we are excited to bring them together under one roof this weekend.

One of the label’s artistic offshoots is the “Frank and Tony presents…” series, showcasing the new project of Francis Harris (aka Adultnapper) and Anthony Collins, who will treat us to a dual performance the night of. Canadian grown, New York formed duo Bob Moses are one of the latest acts to join Scissor & Thread, with their Hands To Hold EP and new live act already gathering quite a buzz. Detroit legend Delano Smith is our special guest for the night, who has been an steadfast member of the house music scene for over 3 decades and needs no introduction for those in the know. We’re bringing all of this talent the underground in a secret location, with special visual and lighting installations in the works to compliment the label’s unique sound.

Warming up the night is some great talent from DC – NavboX from Stranger Than Paradise, and Jubilee of M.O.E. who have both been making waves in the capital’s underground scene.
